AJA Registrars has joined the SOCOTEC group, a major player in TIC11 in the Construction and Infrastructure sectors
The acquisition entry of AJA Registrars into the SOCOTEC group allows AJA customers to benefit from a broader certification offering with greater coverage as well as further enhancing SOCOTEC’s market leasing position in Singapore and other Asian locations.
It also boosts the position of the SOCOTEC Group in Certification by adding to the already existing 5 subsidiaries (France, Japan, Philippines, United Kingdom, and Singapore) with new locations in Bangkok, Hong Kong and the USA.
The acquisition significantly increases the SOCOTEC Group’s certification business, taking its revenue to €17 million as well as widening it’s Accreditation base with AJA Registrars existing national approvals from NSC and ACFS in Thailand and JAS-ANZ through the Philippine operations.

AJA transition to ISO 27001:2013
AJA Registrars has been formally transitioned by UKAS to conduct ISO 27001:2013 Information Security Management System audits. As per the Transition arrangements published by UKAS, no new ISO 27001:2005 Certificates will be issued after 30 September 2014.

AJA accredited for ISO 50001 certification services
AJA Registrars has been accredited to conduct audits and provide certification for ISO 50001 (Energy Management Systems) across all industry sectors by the US-based ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board (ANAB). The prestigious accreditation makes AJA Registrars just the seventh certification body to be recognized by ANAB for this increasingly popular standard. The accreditation also opens new markets and opportunities for AJA Registrars Group. Accreditation was awarded after ANAB auditors observed audits conducted by AJA Registrars staff in Thailand and the United Kingdom.
